CER Refresher course Life-saving treatment & Fire prevention/fighting

Description
As a CERO, it is crucial to keep your knowledge and skills up to date. You do that by taking the 8 hour CER Refresher course. During this course, the main points of both the fire section and the life-saving treatment section are reviewed. This also extends the validity of your CER certificate for the duration of one year. Each year, we cover theory in a different form, such as in game form or with the help of actors. If there are new developments, we also include those in this training course.

The 8 hour CER Refresher course is desgined for CER's who want to extend their CER certificate.

Content
You repeat and practice the main points regarding fire prevention & fire fighting and Life-saving treatment from the Basic CER training course. We review your practical operations. The main points are as follows:

• Alerting CER and general emergency response rules
• CPR and use of an AED
• External wounds: burns, eye injuries, bruises and sprains, broken bones, dislocations and spinal injuries

• Fire and the dangers in a fire
• The task of a CERO in the event of fire and evacuation
